I trained Judo when I was a kid 6-7 years old, I started training Jiu Jitsu about 17 years ago however the training was sporadic at best because I was moving a lot around the country at that time. It wasn’t until I settled in Vancouver and started training full time in 2011. Then received my blue belt in just under 6 months. After that I moved to Calgary when I started working for the Calgary Fire Department and trained full time at JR Academy Under Professor Josh Russell, Receiving my Blackbelt in 2021.
